Running List[edit]

This is just a running list for future reference for the article on where these gems are located. There is a maximum of 9 gems, as that is how many slots there are on the console, arranging them in different patterns opens different doors, with each successive door requiring more gems than the previous door. No idea if there are actually 9 doors, well 8 since the first door requires 2, but we'll see.

  • Two can be found on one of the Reavers that are around the console when you first enter the ruin.
  • One can be purchased from the merchant with the Silt Strider, named Dusty, just northwest of Tel Mithryn. I cannot remember the name of the merchant, so if someone wants to check on that, or I can when I have the time :)
  • One can be found in Nchardak, in the aqueduct section.
  • One can be found in the back room of the Fahlbtharz Grand Hall.

That's it so far. I'll add more when I find them (Or you can). The Journal that is found with the Reavers suggests that the other Dwemer ruins in Solstheim hold the key to solving the puzzles, but since I found one on a merchant in the middle of nowhere, I think that we can safely assume that not ALL of them are located there. I'm exploring one of the the Dwemer ruins now, so I'll report back if I end up finding one there. Jeancey (talk) 20:12, 6 December 2012 (GMT)

Edit from an anonymous source: You only need 4 to complete the dungeon. — Unsigned comment by 68.102.255.168 (talk) at 22:40 on 13 February 2013‎

Steadfast Spider[edit]

When I talk to the spider I can't get it to follow me. I say " you seem friendly" and the only option it gives me is to say " I don't need a pile of scrap following me.". Do I have to complete the whole dungeon to get the spider? 173.73.159.61 17:30, 9 January 2013 (GMT)

Anybody? It's the same with the sphere. I've tried backing out after "you seem friendly" but it still doesn't follow. Why can't I get the follow option? 173.73.159.61 18:06, 11 January 2013 (GMT)
What happens if you try to get another creature follower? Are you able to? It might be worth trying to hire and dismiss one to see if that resolves the issue for you. — ABCface 19:34, 11 January 2013 (GMT)
I had a dog not too long ago with no problems. I dismissed my followers and tried again and still no luck. I'll try it soon with a different character. 173.73.159.61 23:19, 28 January 2013 (GMT)
Did you take the side of the Rieklings at Thirsk Mead Hall? If so, you may be stuck with them as permanent followers, even if you never ask any of them to follow you. That's what seems to have happened to me. 174.6.51.17 10:45, 19 March 2013 (GMT)
I have the "random Rieklings" (not followers, the three that randomly show up for combat) and managed to get a sphere to follow me.--98.165.130.24 10:54, 22 August 2013 (GMT)

No gems on Reavers?[edit]

When I went to Kagrumez, the two Reavers inside didn't have any resonance gems on them. Has this happened to anyone else? --Darth l33t (talk) 03:34, 20 February 2013 (GMT)

There is actually three reavers and the leader has the gems. I wonder if the leader had been knocked out of the screen, that had happened to me before in a quest in Skyrim. 24.178.41.56 23:28, 7 March 2013 (GMT)

No Reavers in Kagrumez[edit]

Upon entering Kagrumez, there were no bandits there. I had acquired three resonance gems from the other locations, but am lacking the last one from the Reavers. Are any other alternatives known? — Unsigned comment by 67.9.173.17 (talk) at 17:30 on 10 April 2013 (GMT)

Trial doesn't finish[edit]

I finished the second kagrumez trial but the room didn't return to the norm. Please help — Unsigned comment by 90.220.171.37 (talk) at 10:42 on 28 April 2013 (GMT)
