Brazollus Dor was the fourth emperor of the Reman Dynasty. He was crowned after his predecessor, Reman II, was killed in battle during the Four-Score War in 1E 2843.[1][2]

Disinterested in matters of state, Brazollus spent most of his reign at his country estate near Skingrad, preferring to let his Potentate Sidri-Ashak run almost all of the Empire's affairs.[2][3] This has been noted as Brazollus' only wise decision, for Sidri-Ashak proved to be a particularly adept administrator.[2] Freed from his burden of duty, Emperor Brazollus is credited with advancing the arts of feastmaking and debauchery to a level unrivaled until the reign of the Longhouse Emperors.[3]

One infamous event was a decadent rendition of the Feast of Saint Coellicia, traditionally observed in the closing days of Last Seed to honor a minor martyr of the Alessian Slave Rebellion, which was held at the Emperor's autumnal estate in Leyawiin. Brazollus' feast was composed of forty dishes, arranged in eight courses of five dishes each.[3]

Brazollus had a paramour named Lady Tusks-Not-Seen.[4] He also slept with the wife of Arnus Demnevanni, who was one of the Emperor's ministers.[5]

Despite his purported idleness, Brazollus supposedly had a habit of personally leading combat from the vanguard of his forces.[6] He was succeeded by Reman III in 1E 2877.[7][2]

Notes[edit]

  • Brazollus had a brother-in-law named Anwentende, who was captured by pirates and castrated shortly before Brazollus held his Feast of Saint Coellicia.[8]
