| Daedra Count | A very intelligent and powerful Daedra spellcaster. | Battlespire |
| Daedra Lord | One of the most powerful Daedra to be commonly seen in Tamriel and is to be feared by all but the most experienced of adventurers. The Daedra Lord is a powerful fighter and spell caster and can only be harmed by mithril or better weapons. | Daggerfall, Battlespire |
| Daedra Seducer | These are scantily-clad, feminine Daedra that may sprout green membranous wings. They are about equivalent in power to the Dremora, and are like them divided into many castes, the most powerful being probably the Dark Seducers. They are powerful spell casters and can only be harmed by mithril or better weapons. Seducers are found in service of many Daedra Princes, notably Azura, Meridia, Nocturnal, Sanguine and even Mehrunes Dagon. | Daggerfall |
| Daedroth | These are reptilian bipedal Daedra, often crocodile-headed, associated with Molag Bal. They are one of the weaker forms of Daedra, but still a dangerous foe with excellent melee abilities and some spellcasting ability. Linguists will point out that "Daedroth" is also the proper singular of "Daedra", but common usage is Daedroth (singular) and Daedroths (plural) for these creatures, and Daedra (both singular and plural) as the generic term. It is unknown if Daedroth have a more proper, specific name. | Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion |
| Dark Seducer | Although this Daedra is intelligent it usually refuses communication with anyone from the 'mundane' realm. Dark Seducers are both powerful spell casters and melee fighters. They may be related to the Daedra Seducer in some manner. Those in service to Sheogorath call themselves the "Mazken." | Battlespire, Shivering Isles |
| Dawn Zombie | An improved type of zombie that are resistant to most forms of attack. | Shadowkey |
| Deer | A common herbivorous ungulate seen in the forests of Cyrodiil. They are very skittish and will quickly flee potential danger. | Oblivion |
| Dog | A common domestic animal descended from wolves. | Oblivion |
| Dragonling | A young form of the mysterious dragon which is rarely seen in Tamriel these days. Although the young form has no spell casting ability it can still breathe fire and is a fair fighter. | Daggerfall |
| Draugr | An undead Nordic warrior, known for feeding on human flesh. | Bloodmoon |
| Dread Zombie | The Strongest Form of zombie on Oblivion. It regenerates health and resists frost, poison, and disease | Oblivion |
| Dremora | These Daedra are intelligent and powerful humanoid war spirits, generally in the service of Mehrunes Dagon, although this was not always so. The Dremora have both spellcasting and fighting abilities, and carry a range of high quality weaponry. They are immune to normal weapons and can reflect spells. The most powerful wear Daedric armor, the most powerful armor in existence. Lesser Dremoras appear to wear such armor, but only because they may freely choose their appearance. Dremora have a rigid caste structure, divided into many tiers. In hierarchical order, these are Churl, Caitiff, Kynval, Kynreeve, Kynmarcher, Markynaz, and Valkynaz. Powerful Dremora are sometimes called "Daedra Lords." | Battlespire, Morrowind, Oblivion |
| Dremora Lord | Intelligent and powerful, Dremora Lords (also known as "Markynaz") are war spirits in the service of Daedra Lord Mehrunes Dagon. Dremora Lords are very powerful foes and typically carry a range of high quality weaponry. They are immune to normal weapons and can reflect spells, in addition to casting various other spells. | Morrowind, Oblivion |
| Dreugh | An underwater creature with no outstanding abilities or attributes. Ancient half-human, half-octopus, sea monsters commonly hunted for their skin (to make armor) and Dreugh Wax from their shells (for its magical properties). See also: Land Dreugh | Daggerfall, Morrowind |
| Dreugh Warlord | A more powerful, and rare, form of the typical Dreugh. | Morrowind |
| Durzog | The durzog, a wild creature not dissimilar to a giant reptilian dog, has been semi-domesticated by the Goblin people of Morrowind. It is not terribly durable but can pack a fair punch. The war Durzog has been trained by goblins to be a vicious killer. | Tribunal |
| Dwarven Robot | A Centurion Sphere | Redguard |
| Dwarven Spectre | Ghosts of the ancient Dwemer which can still be found haunting the halls of their ruins. The ghosts are typically sought as a source of ectoplasm. And like all other ghosts, silver weapons are required to harm them. | Morrowind |
