  1. A thrusting, two handed spear with an axe-head attached to the end. Although it has low damage compared to other weapons, its long reach is impressive

  1. The ancient Redguard society which taught the Shehai, or the Way of the Spirit Sword. Unfortunately, there has been no known existence of this guild for several thousand years.


[edit] Hand-to-Hand [ hand-too-hand ]

  1. The martial art of unarmed combat. Hand-To-Hand attacks damage only the fatigue of a standing opponent, but hand-to-hand attacks damage health when a target has been knocked unconscious by fatigue loss. The skill is governed by the user's speed.

  1. A Healer is a mage who chooses to concentrate their studies in the School of Restoration. They are also typically very strong in defensive magic but poor in offensive magic which, by no means, makes them any less valuable. Indeed, a successful army typically has a large number of Healers to restore and rejuvenate their injured comrades. As with all magic users, a high intelligence and willpower are a great boon.

  1. This combat skill is used to move and defined while wearing massive and rigid armors like iron, steel, silver, Dwemer, ebony, and Daedric armor. To use any style of armor effectively, the wearer must be trained, conditioned and skilled in its use. The skill is governed by the user's endurance.

  1. Also known as Salache or Altmeri. Those who hail from the province of Summerset Isle. The High Elves are among the longest living and most intelligent races of Tamriel. Because of this they often become powerful magic users having centuries in which to practice their art. Due to their incredibly strong minds they are naturally immune to paralysis, both natural and magical.
  2. The High Elves, or Altmer, are the proud, tall, golden-skinned peoples of Summerset Isle. The common tongue of the Empire, Tamrielic, is based on their speech and writing, and most of the Empire's arts, crafts, and sciences are derived from High Elven traditions. Deft, intelligent, and strong-willed, High Elves are often gifted in the arcane arts, and are far more resistant to disease than the lesser races.

  1. A race of sentient trees that are the object of worship by the Argonian races. They have existed since the Dawn Era and were nearly wiped out by the warring Ehlnofey. Hist secrete a thick resin that can be made into fine armor. In a "coming of age" ritual, young, animal-like Argonians lick the Hist tree to turn into their humanoid forms. Consumption of Hist Sap by non-Argonians (and sometimes even Argonians) results in numerous side-effects including being very open to suggestion and berserker rage, as exploited by the Blackwood Company.

  1. One of the Great Houses of Morrowind. Regarded as the most cosmopolitan and cooperative of the houses because of its pro-Imperial mercantilism. See House Hlaalu for more information.
