Ra Gada
The Ra Gada (sometimes spelled Ra' Gada or Ra'Gada) was the warrior wave of the fleet that left the doomed continent of Yokuda and sailed towards Tamriel. The bulk of the refugees were put ashore on the island of Herne while the Ra Gada sailed on to mainland Tamriel, reaching the coast in 1E 808.
The word Ra Gada became corrupted to Redguard, and although it originally referred only to the warriors of the refugees, it gradually became to be the name used to refer to the whole race.
The Ra Gada landed in the south of Hammerfell and they and their descendants tended to remain in the area. The rest of the refugees, including the ruling council - the Na-Totambu - settled in the north and rapidly resumed their traditional rule. Gradually, Redguard society fractured along these lines, with the Ra Gada calling themselves "The Forebears" to emphasize the fact that they arrived on Tamriel first, and the Na-Totambu calling themselves "The Crowns" to illustrate their history of leadership.
Despite their later desire to assimilate, the Ra Gada were strongly opposed to outsiders during the First Era and were mostly responsible for preventing the Alessian Doctrines from having a strong presence in Hammerfell.

 Resolution of Z'en
The Resolution of Z'en is a temple devoted to Z'en, the God of Commerce and Patron of Merchants and Mercenaries. Long ago, in the movement's birth, early members made a temple like no other: one meant to be adaptable, but resilient to the storm of time. They are thus called Resolutions, a far more descriptive term than temples.
 Restless League
The Restless League was a Redguard Crown organization set up in 2E 864 after the defeat of Prince A'tor at the Battle of Hunding Bay in and around Stros M'Kai. The League was based in a hidden cove on the island, and resorted to piracy in an attempt to rebel against Imperial rule. Cyrus joined the League, and was responsible for the death of Lord Amiel Richton. Because of this rebellion, Hammerfell was able to negotiate better terms for itself under the new empire of Tiber Septim.
The Rourken are a clan of rebellious Dwemer who refused to join the First Council and make peace with the Chimer, who were under Indoril Nerevar at the time. They chose exile instead. According to legend their leader hurled the great hammer Volendrung towards the setting sun and vowed to settle wherever it landed. Calling the land they found Volenfell, they built their new home on the isle of Stros M'Kai, where their holds and bridges are still well-preserved.
