[edit] Lainlyn

The Barony of Lainlyn is a coastal region on the eastern bank of the Iliac Bay. It has a southern border with the Dragontail Mountains, a western with Kozanset and Totambu and a northern border with Satakalaam. The main deity of this region is Julianos. The official military force of Lainlyn is the Host of the Horn. Redguards call this province of Hammerfell home. The provincial seat is the eponymous city of Lainlyn.

Riglametha, a local festival, is celebrated on the twelfth of Hearth Fire every year in Lainlyn as a celebration of Lainlyn's many blessings. Pageants are held on such themes as the Ghraewaj, when the Daedra worshipers in Lainlyn were transformed into Harpies for their blasphemy. Lainlyn is indeed troubled by Harpies. According to some reports, Lainlyn's population of Harpies is the largest in the Iliac Bay. Many efforts have been made in the past to defeat the Harpies, but nothing has been effective enough to reduce the nuisance they cause.

[edit] Lake Rumare

Lake Rumare (pronounced roo-MAR-ee) is a large lake completely surrounding the island of the Imperial City in the Imperial Province of Cyrodiil.

Many phrases in the local vernacular refer to Lake Rumare, such as "throwing money into Lake Rumare" to save time instead of "visiting that dump (the Imperial City)."

[edit] Larsius River

Larsius River is a fairly short river that rises just on the Elsweyr side of the border with Cyrodiil and flows north, then east, past the city of Bravil to enter Niben Bay.

[edit] Leyawiin

Leyawiin is a Cyrodiilic city in the extreme southeast of the province, by the mouth of the Niben River where it opens into Topal Bay. Located on the small strip of land between the provinces of Elsweyr and Black Marsh, the recently ceded Trans-Niben, it has a sizable population that includes many Khajiit and Argonians. Marius Caro is the Count of Leyawiin at the end of the Third Era.

[edit] City of Leyawiin

The city of Leyawiin straddles a swampy estuary of the Niben River. It is roughly divided into four districts: Chapel District, Guild Plaza, Main Street and Castle Leyawiin.

[edit] Chapel District

The Chapel District is located near the West Gate and is home to the Great Chapel of Zenithar. Facing the Chapel, the Three Sisters' Inn can be found. In the north, there are the Five Claws Lodge inn and the armorer and general trader shops.

[edit] Guild Plaza

Guild Plaza lies south of Chapel District and is home to the Mages Guild and Fighters Guild chapters as well as the headquarters of the Blackwood Company, a rival mercenary organization. Also on Guild Plaza is Southern Books, Cyrodiil's largest bookstore south of the Imperial City. South of Guild Plaza, near the city walls, is a statue of Leyawiin's patron saint, Torval the Pilot.

[edit] Main Street

Main Street runs from north to south and comprises the residential district of Leyawiin. East of it, three small recreational lakes, separated from the Niben River by the city wall, can be found. Two gates east of Main Street lead to the castle.

[edit] Castle Leyawiin

Castle Leyawiin is located east of Main Street and houses the Great Hall and the Guard Barracks, headquarters of the Leyawiin City Watch. The East Gate allows access to the eastern shore of the Niben river; the Northern Gate leads to the Coast Guard Station, located near the river. Marius Caro, the Count of Leyawiin, resides in the Castle, together with his wife, Alessia Caro, daughter of the Countess of Chorrol.

[edit] County Leyawiin

County Leyawiin stretches along the Niben River until its boundary with County Bravil in the north. The settlements of Border Watch and Water's Edge are located on the western shore of the Niben, along the road to Bravil, and to the northeast lies the settlement of Blankenmarch.

[edit] Lillandril

Lillandril is a major city on the northwestern coast of Summerset Isle.

The Flask of Lillandril is an artifact rumored to make the bearer invulnerable to all forms of magic.
