[edit] Labyrinthian
Labyrinthian is an ancient Nordic ruin located in Hjaalmarch, Skyrim. The labyrinth for which the ruin gets is name was built sometime in the First Era, but the ruins themselves are much older, having been the city of Bromjunaar, thought to have once been the capital of the Dragon Cult. Trading caravans occasionally pass through the ruins, although they often prefer safer, longer routes. The ruins of Lost Valkygg are located within the abandoned city.
[edit] Lainlyn
The Barony of Lainlyn is a coastal region on the eastern bank of the Iliac Bay. It has a southern border with the Dragontail Mountains, a western with Kozanset and Totambu and a northern border with Satakalaam. The main deity of this region is Julianos. The official military force of Lainlyn is the Host of the Horn. Redguards now reside here, but in ancient times it had been home to many other races, notably elves and Bretons. The provincial seat is the eponymous city of Lainlyn.
Riglametha, a local festival, is celebrated on the twelfth of Hearth Fire every year in Lainlyn as a celebration of Lainlyn's many blessings. Pageants are held on such themes as the Ghraewaj, when the Daedra worshippers in Lainlyn were transformed into Harpies for their blasphemy. Lainlyn is indeed troubled by Harpies. According to some reports, Lainlyn's population of Harpies is the largest in the Iliac Bay. Many efforts have been made in the past to defeat the Harpies, but nothing has been effective enough to reduce the nuisance they cause.
[edit] Larsius River
The Larsius River is a fairly short river that rises just on the Elsweyr side of the border with Cyrodiil and flows north, then east, past the city of Bravil to enter Niben Bay.
[edit] Leyawiin
Leyawiin is a Cyrodiilic city in the extreme southeast of the province, by the mouth of the Niben River where it opens into Topal Bay. Located on the small strip of land between the provinces of Elsweyr and Black Marsh, the recently ceded Trans-Niben, it has a sizable population that includes many Khajiit and Argonians. Marius Caro is the Count of Leyawiin at the end of the Third Era. Leyawiin used to be a primarily Khajiit city that was part of Elsweyr, but was later annexed into Cyrodiil due to an agreement between the Mane and the Empire. The Renrijra Krin, a group of bandits and freedom fighters, prime objective is to reclaim Leyawiin and other parts of Cyrodiil that they believe rightfully belong to Elsweyr.
Leyawiin straddles a swampy estuary of the Niben River. It is roughly divided into four districts: Chapel District, Guild Plaza, Main Street and Castle Leyawiin.
[edit] Lillandril
Lillandril is a port city on the northwestern coast of Summerset Isle. It was once home to a gladiatorial team called the Crimson Guard.
Circa 1E 470, a magical flask was discovered by a group of elves living in the city. The Flask of Lillandril absorbed any magic used against its bearer, and was used to extend the power of the Barons of Summerset Isle. While the flask was being transported to the city of Daggerfall, the ship carrying it was shipwrecked off the island of Stros M'Kai.
Lillandril once possessed a branch of the Mages Guild before the guild dissolved. The local branch drew their power from a magical diamond. This diamond was stolen from them by priests from the Temple of the Mad God. During the Imperial Simulacrum, the Eternal Champion retrieved the diamond for the guild. In return, the guild used their newly-restored power to locate the Crystal Tower for the champion.
[edit] Lilmoth
Lilmoth is a major city in Black Marsh, located on Oliis Bay. It is the city farthest to the southeast in all of Tamriel, and was home to a gladiatorial team known as the Dark Tide.
