- "Bungler's Bane is a mottled brown-and-orange shelf fungus collected from the trunks of trees in the Bitter Coast region."
Bungler's Bane is a shelf-fungus found growing on trees (and occasionally cave walls) throughout the Bitter Coast region. It is often confused for Hypha Facia, which is similar in appearance and often grows in the same places. Hypha Facia is the slightly more useful of the two, though neither is particularly valuable for alchemical purposes. Ajira at the Balmora Mages Guild will ask for a sample during the Four Types of Mushrooms quest.
