Cure Poison

Dispels any long-duration Poison effects currently affecting the target. Instant-damage poison effects cannot be stopped, and health lost due to poison damage is not restored.

This effect is of relatively limited use, as most Posion effects in the game (like Fire Damage, Frost Damage, and Shock Damage) are instant, or at most of very short duration, giving you very little chance to cast a spell or use an item with this effect before the damage is already done.
One occasion where this spell is of use is in Bamz-Amschend beneath Mournhold. There are several poison traps and spells which have a very long duration, and can be potentially fatal when exploring the ruin.
