[edit] Detailed Walkthrough
[edit] Chores
Baladas Demnevanni at Arvs-Drelen in Gnisis will ask you to find three books: Nchunak's Fire and Faith, Chronicles of Nchuleft, and Antecedants of Dwemer Law.
[edit] Stealing the Books
Fortunately, though the books are rare, they are not terribly difficult to find. All three books can be found in the Holamayan Monastery and in the Tribunal Temple's secret library in Vivec. The Monastery is found on the large island on the east of the map, far north to the Shrine of Azura and you may have already found it as a part of the Main Quest (you can also reach it via a boat from Ebonheart's docks). Unfortunately its entrance is only available at the hours of dawn and dusk.
The Tribunal Temple's Secret Library in Vivec is an equally difficult route as it is well hidden and once inside you'll have to watch out for the Ordinator guards when you steal the books.
The Temple in Gnisis conveniently has two copies of Antecedants of Dwemer Law. See the individual Book links for more locations.
[edit] Buying the Books
If you have the money, the easiest method is to simply buy the books from Dorisa Darvel in Balmora (who has both Chronicles of Nchuleft and Nchunak's Fire and Faith) and Jobasha's Rare Books in the Foreign Quarter in Vivec (who has both Chronicles of Nchuleft and Antecedants of Dwemer Law).
If you're really made of money, Ethes Evos at Arobar Manor in Ald'ruhn will sell you a copy of Antecedants of Dwemer Law for 300 gold. While he claims it's much less than the book is worth, the actual base value of the book is 25 gold, and while you won't get it for that little unless you're a real master of Mercantile, it will still be much less than the non-negotiable 300 he will charge for it.
[edit] Delivering the Books
Return to Baladas with the three books to complete the quest and receive a number of his 'trinkets' as a reward. This includes: Ondusi's Key, Amulet of Admonition, Second Barrier Belt, and the Surefeet shoes.
