[edit] Guar Hide Squeeze

Nileno Dorvayn at the Balmora Hlaalu Council Manor will ask you to convince alchemist Rolasa Oren in Vivec to buy imported guar hides from House Hlaalu, instead of House Redoran. Nileno's trying to improve House Hlaalu's share of the guar hide trade with the alchemists in Vivec.

[edit] Locate Rolasa Oran

Travel to Vivec (the quickest ways from Balmora are through either the Mages Guild Guide, or via Silt Strider. The Guild Guide will place you in the Foreign Quarter, where you'll find Rolasa Oren). Ask around, and you'll find out that Rolasa works out of the Upper Waistworks in the Foreign Quarter, where she has a vendor's stall.

[edit] Rolasa Needs Some Convincing

Initially Rolasa will refuse your request, citing that imported guar hides aren't that fresh, and besides she's been buying from House Redoran for years. Raise her disposition to 80 or above, and she will agree. You can do this either by sweet-talking her (admire), bribing her, or intimidating her -- use whatever works for you. Each method has its pros and cons.

Once Rolasa agrees, travel back to Balmora and report back to Nileno to complete the quest and receive 1000 gold, a portion of the future guar hide sales, for your efforts.
