Sleepers are distorted half-human, half-beast abominations created through magic and are usually associated with Dagoth Ur. Sleepers are very intelligent, aggressive and dangerous to all but the most experienced of travellers. Their bone structure appears to be comprised of a skull only, due to the fact that when one is killed, only the skull remains.

A half-human, half-beast creature created by the dark magic of Dagoth Ur. Note that despite being called "ghouls", these creatures are not actually undead (only Dagoth Baler is set "undead" instead "humanoid" in the game).

[edit] Corprus Stalker

Deranged and deformed victims of the dreaded Corprus Disease, which has no known cure. Care must be taken when confronting these creatures as they become incredibly tough due to the disease. People in the game may warn you that you may be infected with Corprus by these creatures. This is completely untrue. The only way to become infected with Corprus is during the Sixth House Base quest, and this is completely unavoidable by any means.

A deformed and deranged victim of the dreaded Corprus Disease. The disease greatly increases the victim's Strength and abilities which makes these dangerous opponents. Like Corprus Stalkers, you will be warned about the threat of catching the uncureable disease from them. Again, however, this is not true, though you may catch Black-Heart Blight from them instead.
