[edit] Detailed Walkthrough
[edit] Orders
Lorbumol gro-Aglakh in the Vivec Fighters Guild asks you to return 2,000 septims of debt money from Lirielle Stoine in Ald'ruhn in the Rat in the Pot.
[edit] Lirielle's Debt
If you drop in to talk with Percius Mercius in the Ald'ruhn Fighters Guild, he will tell you that it wasn't Lirielle who owes the money, but her brother Ruran Stoine. Ruran was murdered and he doubts that Lirielle has the money to pay the debt, and he suggests that you pay it yourself. This is the same story that Lirielle will give you, though she knows that Ruran was killed in Mallapi, northeast of Gnaar Mok, where he went to seek his fortune.
[edit] Mallapi
Though you don't have to go to Mallapi, it may be worth your while, especially if you can't afford to part with the 2,000 gold yourself (well, only 1,000 gold since you get to keep half of the debt). Mallapi is on the hills just northeast of Gnaar Mok as Lirielle mentioned. Ruran's corpse is in a dead end just inside the entrance under some water. With the loot from his corpse and the remaining treasure in the caves, you should easily be able to make up the 1,000 gold for the debt.
Return to Lorbumol for your 1,000 gold reward (half of the debt money).
