Llunela Hleran

Llunela Hleran is a Dark Elf enchantress and Wizard of House Telvanni. She is located in the Hermitage of the Sadrith Mora Telvanni Council House. She is wearing a pair of extravagant shoes with a matching robe and ruby amulet, as well as up to 100 gold. Aside from her natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by her ancestors, she knows the following spells: Vivec's Wrath, Toxic Cloud, Iron Will, Wisdom, Assured Red Wisdom, Fortify Destruction Skill, Blood Despair, Absorb Willpower, Absorb Speed, Absorb Strength, Absorb Intelligence, Drain Blood, Weak Spelldrinker, Reflect, Far Silence, Hide, Invisibility, Dire Weakness to Shock, Dire Weakness to Poison, Dire Weakness to Magicka, Dire Weakness to Frost, Dire Weakness to Fire, Viperbolt, Poisonbloom, Deadly Poison, Drain Destruction, Wild Distraction, Distracting Touch, Wearying Touch and Sleep

Llunela is involved in the construction of your Telvanni Stronghold. Beyond that, it is unclear as to what role she plays in House Telvanni, but her lodgings do resemble those of a Hermit. Galar Rothan also said that he heard her say she wanted to incorporate some of the defenses she's seen in Dwemer ruins into her next stronghold.

Related Quests[edit]

House Telvanni[edit]

Dialogue[edit]

Most of her unique dialogue is related to the Stronghold quest:

construction contract[edit]

If you haven't yet given her the construction contract:

"House Telvanni has expanded too quickly. We have allowed our young and ambitious to build unauthorized bases all across Vvardenfell. To avoid trouble with the Grand Council, you should make your stronghold official. Only Duke Vedam Dren in Ebonheart can issue construction contracts."

If you already gave her the contract:

"Yes, you have given me the construction contract. I trust it was not too difficult."

Dwemer Animunculi[edit]

When you first have the option of asking her this, she'll say:

"There is a book, "Secrets of Dwemer Animunculi," which has been lost for many years. I know that this books lies in the Vampire-infested ruins of Galom Daeus. When I have this book in my possession, your stronghold will be the first in ages to be guarded by Dwemer Centurions."

If you speak to her again, she'll say:

"Have you found this book, %PCName?"

You have the option of saying one of the following:

Yes, here it is.
"Yes, this is exactly what I need. This, along with the schematics you brought me should be enough to unravel the secrets of Dwemer Centurions. I will give the orders to begin the last phase of your stronghold. It should go quickly... but it should take at least five days."
No, not yet.
"Then return to Galom Daeus and continue your search."

If you ask her about it again after bringing her the book, she'll say:

"You have brought me the book, %PCName. I hope your stronghold is satisfactory."

Galom Daeus[edit]

After asking about the Dwemer Animunculi, you'll be directed to this ruin. Asking her about it receives the following response:

"To get to Galom Daeus, go south from your stronghold until you reach a river of lava. Follow that river to the west until it ends. You will see another pool of lava ahead of you. Galom Daeus lies beyond that pool."

Unique Greetings[edit]

If your rank in House Telvanni is Oathman or lower, she will greet you with the following words:

"I oversee the construction of strongholds for House Telvanni. You do not have enough rank [sic] in House Telvanni to have your own stronghold."

When you reach the rank Lawman, her greeting will change:

"Are you here to discuss your stronghold?"

Llunela Hleran[edit]

If asked about herself, she says:

"Yes, I am Llunela. I am the stronghold builder for House Telvanni."

strong souls[edit]

For your stronghold, you'll need two strong souls. She'll provide the two grand soulgems, along with the following information:

"Here, take these grand soulgems. Fill them with the souls of a suitable Daedra. The best souls to use are Storm Atronachs, but more powerful Daedra such as Winged Twilights and Golden Saints will work as well."

If you ask her about it again before filling the gems, she'll say:

"I gave you two soulgems. Fill them with the souls of Storm Atronachs, Golden Saints, or Winged Twilights. Perhaps someone around here knows where you can find such strong souls."

After filling the two gems, return to her:

"You have brought me the soulgems. The power in these souls will strengthen your stronghold's foundations and help the tower grow."

stronghold[edit]

If you ask her to build you a stronghold before you have reached the appropriate rank in House Telvanni, she will decline:

"I cannot build you a stronghold until you have been appointed as the Mouth of one of the Telvanni Councilors."

Speak with her again after you have become Aryon's Mouth to hear what she needs in order to begin the construction of your stronghold:

"Yes, I can build you a tower of your own, %PCRank. First you must acquire a construction contract from Duke Vedam Dren. Then you bring me two strong souls to form the foundations of your stronghold."

Mentioning this topic again to her after she has sent you off to obtain a construction contract and two strong souls prompts her to ask if you have successfully completed this task:

"Do you have the construction contract and two strong souls?"
Yes, here they are.
[If you have neither the contract nor two appropriate gems in your inventory.] "Oh? You do, do you? And where might they be?"
[If you do not have the contract in your inventory.] "You have two strong souls, but you must also get a construction contract from Duke Vedam Dren in Ebonheart."
[If you do not have two appropriate gems in your inventory.] "You have the construction contract, but I also need two strong souls to form the foundations of your stronghold."
[Else.] "Yes, I will use these souls to begin construction of your stronghold."
No, not yet.
"Do not waste my time, then. You must bring me the construction contract and two strong souls."

If you speak with her again after you have given her the items that she needs, she will say:

"Construction on your stronghold will begin soon."

After a while, you receive a journal entry that mentions that you should see Llunela about your stronghold. Do so and she will say:

"Yes, I want you to check on your stronghold, which is being built on the alleged site of Uvirith's Grave. I will mark it on your map. Go there and speak with Gashnak gra-Mughol, the foreman in charge of constructing your stronghold."

Return to her after you have visited the construction site and she will say the following:

"I am pleased to hear that the mushroom is growing so well. Thank you for keeping me informed. Your stronghold should finish its first stage of growth in a few days."

Trying to discuss your stronghold with her again prompts her to tell you to return in a few days time:

"Speak with me again when the first stage of your tower is complete. It will only take a few days for it to finish growing."

Now that the first phase of the construction on your stronghold has been completed, it is time for you to collect some more items for Llunela:

"If you want me to build you a tower fit for a Telvanni Councilor, I will need 5000 drakes for expenses. I also want you to investigate the Dwemer ruin of Mzanchend northwest of your stronghold. Bring me any plans or schematics you find there."

If you try and talk with her about your stronghold after she has given you this task, she will ask you if you have completed it yet:

"Do you have the Dwemer schematics from Mzanchend and the 5000 gold?"
Yes, here they are.
[If neither of the requested objects is in your inventory.] "And I suppose you are keeping them at your stronghold? No, you must bring them to me."
[If you only have the plans in your inventory.] "You have found the plans, you but you do not have enough gold."
[If you only have a sufficient amount of gold in your inventory.] "You have the gold, but where are the Dwemer Schematics?"
[Else.] "Yes, this will do. I shall give the orders to begin construction on the rest of your stronghold."
No, not yet.
"Do not waste my time until you have found the things I seek."

As per usual, you will need to let a few days pass until she needs more help with the construction of your stronghold:

"I have given the orders to begin construction on the next phase of your stronghold."

If you are still a Wizard or lower by the time that the second phase of the construction of your stronghold is complete, Llunela will tell you that you must seek advancement in House Telvanni if you want her to complete your stronghold:

"The second stage of your stronghold is complete. I trust everything is in order? Speak with me again when you are a Master of House Telvanni and I will build you a stronghold fit for the mightiest Telvanni wizards."

Once you have risen to the rank of Master in House Telvanni, she will offer to build the last stage of your stronghold and then some:

"Yes, I am prepared to build the last stage of your stronghold. Your stronghold will be the first since the fall of Resdayn to be guarded by Dwemer Animunculi."

After you have given her the book "Secrets of Dwemer Animunculi", she will confirm that she is ready to complete the construction of your stronghold:

"You have brought me the book "Secrets of Dwemer Animunculi". Soon you will have a stronghold that rivals that of Uvirith himself."

And finally, if you mention your stronghold to her after its construction has been completed, she will say:

"Your stronghold is complete."

Notes[edit]

  • Llunela Hleran belongs to the Hleran family, which has their own ancestral tomb.
