Greetings! M'Aiq knows many things. What is your interest? You seek knowledge. M'Aiq has much. Some of it verified by actual facts!

M'Aiq the Liar is a male Khajiit who can be found on a small island northeast of Dagon Fel in the Sheogorad Region (map). He has a lot of interesting things to say, most of which are wildly false. Mostly, he talks about certain requested features which were not included in the game for whatever reason. He serves a similar purpose in Oblivion.

• Liches: "You wish to become a lich? It's very easy, my friend. Simply find the heart of a lich, combine it with the tongue of a dragon, and cook it with the flesh of a well-ridden horse. This combination is certain to make you undead." (All three things you're supposed to find don't exist, It should also be noted that the siege at Firemoth official plug in and the Tribunal expansion add Liches, though they have no hearts to take.)
• Dragons: "Dragons? Oh, they're everywhere! You must fly very high to see most of them, though. The ones nearer the ground are very hard to see, being invisible."
• Emperor Crabs: "M'Aiq sees lots of them in the ocean. M'Aiq knows you'll see one too if you swim far enough."

• Weresharks: "I have only met one, but he was afraid of the water." (A reference to Daggerfall where there were many different types of werecreatures, while in Morrowind there weren't any until the introduction of Bloodmoon.)
