Travel to Balmora and enter Nerano Manor.
Challenge Ondres Nerano to a duel and defeat him.
Return to Sarethi.

[edit] Duties

Athyn Sarethi in his manor in Ald'ruhn will ask you to defend the House honor by challenging Ondres Nerano to a duel. Nerano is in his manor in Balmora.

[edit] The Duel

Travel to Balmora via the Guild Guide (or any other means). Talk to him about slander and accept his challenge to a duel. You win if you knock him out, his health drops below 50, or he dies. In the event of his death, there will be no bounty as long as Nerano issued the challenge first.

Report back to Sarethi in Ald'ruhn to complete the quest.

[edit] Notes

A Thieves Guild quest requires you to steal the Nerano Manor Key. If you are a member of both factions, you should do the Thieves Guild quest first, as they will penalize you if Ondres is already dead when you complete the quest.
To spawn Nerano if you've previously killed him:
