[edit] Alit
A common two legged creature found in the grasslands and ash wastes of Morrowind. It is similar to its more powerful cousin, the Kagouti, and resembles a disproportionately large walking mouth. When diseased, its attacks are poisonous and may potentially transmit the disease.

[edit] Cliff Racer
A large flying creature found throughout Vvardenfell. It is very aggressive and will attack anyone in sight. In Oblivion, Jiub is said to have driven the Cliff Racers off the island and was made a saint because of it. Cliff Racers will often be found in very close proximity to one another, resulting in large numbers of them following the player, who is unlikely to notice them until they are within melee distance. Their weak point is in the section where the tail connects to the body. Large concentrations of Cliff Racers can be found in the Foyadas and in mountain ranges. The Racer Plumes they drop are useful for home-made Levitation potions.

[edit] Dreugh
Ancient half-human, half-octopus sea monsters commonly hunted for their skin (to make armor) and Dreugh Wax from their shells (for its magical properties). The wax found within their shells is highly valuable and useful if the player has a high alchemy skill. You will often encounter them in shallow water in caves and along the coastline. Dreughs can be found in high concentrations around Gnaar Mok, around Ebonheart in the waters below the bridge and the caves, in the deepest waters far off the coast of Seyda Neen, and in the Koal Cave near Khuul.
Dreugh tend to swarm you while swimming or diving, Water Walking is often a faster and safer alternative. When fighting them in melee, the weakest point is where the tentacles connect to the torso.

[edit] Kagouti
The more powerful relative of the Alit, the Kagouti is a large and aggressive two-legged animal with large tusks. (Note: During the production of Morrowind, the designers had not created the sounds for the Kagouti when it came to testing them, so they temporarily used alternatives. See the Easter Egg for more information.)

[edit] Mudcrab
A small, hard-shelled creature found on the shores throughout Morrowind. They are not typically aggressive unless cornered or provoked. High concentrations of mudcrabs can be found along the Bitter Coast near Seyda Neen, Gnaar Mok, Hla Oad and in Khuul. Be careful searching the Diseased Mudcrab bodies, as you may contract Swamp Fever.

[edit] Netch
Netch are large, peaceful creatures resembling airborne jellyfish with the size and disposition of cattle. They are supported by internal sacs of magical vapours. Netch are herded by farmers in peaceful areas, as their hide makes a good quality leather. The female or "betty" Netch is smaller than the male or "bull," but is more easily provoked into aggression, especially in herds where the female-male ratio is kept lower than in the wild for faster breeding. Some bull Netch, however, have a poisonous attack.
