The Tower of Dawn is the right-hand tower of Ghostgate as you approach from the south. [edit]

This tower provides a few services, mostly of the magical variety. Keep an eye out for 5 skill books here. On the Upper Level, you will find copies of 36 Lessons of Vivec, Sermon 13 (Alteration), Sermon 18 (Alchemy), Sermon 21 (Light Armor), all on the small shelf of books in the lower section. On the Lower Level, look for The Wolf Queen, Book II (Hand-to-hand) on the shelf near Faras Thirano, and The Rear Guard (Light Armor) on the night-stand by one of the beds in the barracks area.

Also downstairs, there is a vault with a variety of valuable treasures. It's behind a 100pt locked door, but there's a key on the desk in front. (Wait until the Ordinator wanders out of the room and close the door behind him to avoid getting caught taking it.) Inside, you'll find an Ebony Tower Shield, and a pair of Ebony Pauldrons, among other things, though the Ordinator standing guard in the vault isn't as easy to deal with as the one in the office out front.

• Auriel's Bow: Find the bow that smells like ash yams (don't ask) somewhere in Ghostgate.
