Locations Bug[edit]

This spell (and divine) only teleport you to the temple you were closest to in you last exterior cell only. I have been testing this for a week all over Morrowind before posting this. Read about it in the new bugs section.

It should also be noted, that this is a great way for free and fast teleportation to ANY shrine. Simply MARK in the cave (interior cells work only), and continue on your way. When you get to the shrine closest to your stronghold, simply recall, pick up your encumbrance-d loot, and use your intervention that matches what that particular shrine was. Even if there are 5 other shrines between you and there, the game doesn't register you as where you are because it only judges location based on exterior cells, and it will take you to the shrine nearest where you recalled from.

That's a long explaination, and I didn't want to cram all of that into the section I put up. I have put that on divine and almsivi (but changed what's necessary to keep it accurate) intervention pages. Feel free to remove it until more testing by others is done, as I have only tested it on XBox GOTY edition. However, I assure you it works every time on this. — Unsigned comment by Justeazy (talkcontribs) at 04:06 on 2 June 2009 (GMT)

It also works on the vanilla PC edition but not on the PC GotY version. –RpehTCE 00:47, 2 June 2009 (EDT)

Divine or Almsivi intervention on another NPC/Creature?[edit]

Is it possible to cast divine or almsivi intervention on another NPC/Creature? For example, if I wanted to get the talking mudcrab to my home, and marked my home, could I cast recall on target? Or if I wanted him in vivec or Ebonheart could I cast almsivi/divine intervention on him? I'm just curious. I haven't played Morrowind in a while, but I never thought of using the teleport spells that way, so I've never personally tested it out. I do know that using the spells on my character won't affect it. I'm not sure if silt striders affect NPCs/creatures. 70.172.230.29 15:32, 19 March 2013 (GMT)

Chaining[edit]

Using a spellmaking vendor, I created:

  • Double Intervention
    • Almsivi Intervention on Self
    • Divine Intervention on Self

just out of curiosity as to what it would do. From just outside the Mages Guild in Balmora, it took me to Moonmoth. From just outside the Temple in Balmora, it took me to Moonmoth. So it wasn't distance to the nearest Temple or fort.

I then created:

  • Reverse Double Intervention
    • Divine Intervention on Self
    • Almsivi Intervention on Self

and sure enough, it always takes me to the Temple, even from Moonmoth. Thus, the effect of the spells is to chain the two together, teleporting you to the first spell location then the second.

If you listen closely, you can actually hear the two teleport sounds as it does this.

With careful study of the teleport zones, I expect that one might be able to teleport from one Temple to another (if the nearest fort is in a different Almsivi zone) or from fort to fort if the nearest Temple is in a different Divine zone. Gglazer (talk) 00:56, 12 January 2015 (GMT)
