[edit] Daedric Boots - Stolen?
I got the Daedric boots (from the ruin, not from killing Diva) and apparently they were considered Stolen, since they got taken away from me when I was arrested. Are there really no others avaliable besides worn on Divayith? Lucky the Cat Guy. 21:20, 9 January 2009 (EST)
- Did you try to retrieve the ones you had from one of the confiscated item chests? Michael 01:18, 10 January 2009 (EST)
- I just checked every evidence chest listed in the "Crime" section, none had them. If there are other chests, can someone list them here for me? Lucky the Cat Guy. 18:35, 11 January 2009 (EST)
- Indeed, they are the property of Arenara, who is non-hostile if you happen to be a Berne vampire. As for others, there's only one other pair you can get without cheats, and that's the one being worn by Divayth Fyr.
- There are 3 other pairs which can only be found in test cells. One is being carried by Lord Cluttermonkey (not worn because Argonians don't wear boots) in the Clutter Warehouse - Everything Must Go! cell. The other two are in the two copies of the "Large Chest of armor", found in ToddTest and Character Stuff Wonderland. All of these locations require the console to enter, so if you're playing on Xbox, you're out of luck - Fyr's boots are your only option.
- As for getting your original pair back - where were you when you got arrested? Because there's two other possibilities for the expansions that aren't listed on this page (though probably should be). If you were in Mournhold, your stuff will be in the Royal Palace Jail, and if you were on Solstheim, it'll be at the Fort Frostmoth Prison. Also, if you're on the PC and using mods, it's also entirely possible that some mod added another Evidence Chest somewhere that you'll need to find. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:16, 12 January 2009 (EST)
- there is another possible way to get them back that I find usefull and time-saving, just go to where you were caught, and they were taken from you and then get caught again and go to jain instead. that usually puts me right by the chest that has my stuff. another thing I have done is made a destroy armor/weapon spell and a calm humanoid with 100Camelion spell destroy div's armor and then calm him for a seccond and steal it from him, the calm takes him outa combat and the chameleon makes it so ou can sneak easy. there you go, with some mana pots you have your set without killing div, and you could find your old boots. :)-

[edit] random loot
i recently got a claymore of a dremora- does this need to be included as golden saints are? — Unsigned comment by 195.137.93.129 (talk) on August 31, 2009 at 19:54
- To be honest, I don't think the Golden Saints should be listed either. This seems like a scetion that provides guaranteed locations for rare equipment. With the exception of the Daedric Tower Shield (since the only way to obtain one is through random drops) I don't think random drops should be included at all. That being said, if we're going to keep random drops, then Dremora should be added where approppriate. -Dlarsh(Talk,Contribs) 04:43, 1 September 2009 (UTC)

- (Update) Since there hasn't been any movement on this, I'll add in the equipment that can be dropped by dremora this evening (same layout as the Golden Saints), unless anyone has any objections. Dlarsh(Talk,Contribs,E-mail) 22:22, 29 September 2009 (UTC)
- Complete (as far as I can tell), except for one tiny thing. According to the CS (and her own page), Barenziah has her own Daedric dagger listed as
daedric dagger_bar, but when selected for editing, the entire window is grayed out. Does this mean that the player can't use her dagger? I don't see any reason why we couldn't take it after she's killed. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Dlarsh(Talk,Contribs,E-mail) 03:14, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

- Sorry we've missed this. It looks good now, the list may be a bit long, but at least now it is comprehensive. As for the not being able to edit; check the Blocked checkbox, I know various NPC have that checked as well (I'm not sure whether items have this checkbox as well). You can simply uncheck it to allow you to edit the entry. I don't believe Morrowind has Unplayable items like Oblivion has. --Timenn-<talk> 08:31, 8 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Specifics
Possibly add specifics to locations of Daedric armour? Simply stating the area is a bit vague since they're hidden (and rightly so.) No reason not too; the Daedric Left Pauldron found in BM, the location is specified in a crack in the tower. Whereas the cuirass and right pauldron are simply said to be in a cave area, somewhere. I can't seem to locate the cuirass, and I had expected specifics for something so rare. Edit: found the cuirass finally, which as expected blended in with the rock. I still stand by my comment however. — Unsigned comment by 82.34.89.211 (talk) at 02:54 on 22 August 2010
- Yes, this should be changed. It should also mention, that without Bloodmoon, your only right pauldron is being worn by Fyr. If you know where it is, feel free to add it yourself. I am afraid that my copy of morrowind croaked, so it might be awhile before I could get to it myself. Lorgren Benirus 03:17, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

- I don't think either suggestion is necessary. The general location is already noted, and none of the pieces are that well-hidden. The list already essentially points out that you need TR and BM to get the pauldrons - that's what the superscript letters are there for. rpeh •T•C•E• 09:36, 22 August 2010 (UTC)

- The cuirass in the Wailingdelve is a bit hard to find its on the slanted ledge to the left of the glass pauldron (facing it) you have to levitate up i passed it twice without seeing it going down then back up and saw it on the way down. — Unsigned comment by 67.142.164.24 (talk) at 20:48 on 18 November 2012
