Actually, Indoril has no technical ties to the Ordinators. It just happens that the majority of the Ordinators come from House Indoril, so that is why the armour has that name. Also, High Ordinators are probably also from House Indoril, because Mournhold is in Indoril land, and Almalexia has ties to them (Nerevar was the Indoril leader at the time).

Oh, okay!

I didn't realize that any of the Dunmer great houses owned land outside Vvardenfell isle, and that Mournhold was some sort of aberration of political compromise. Heh. --Ctishman 13:11, 26 May 2005 (EDT)

Well there isn't really much in-game to indicate that really...but there are some maps that give an idea of what land each of the five houses posses, along with Imperial and Temple territory. Here's one from Tamriel Rebuilt. --Mdimitro 19:47, 26 May 2005 (EDT)

If you ask someone about the great houses, you might get the answer that only three Houses own land on Vvardenfell Island: Hlaalu, Redoran and Telvanni. Indoril and Dres do not have property on Vvardenfell Island, but they do on the mainland. Errabee 03:03, 27 May 2005 (CET).

[edit] Vedam Dren

I refer to the discussion that is going on in the article about House Hlaalu: There is no text which explictly states that is was Vedam Dren who replaced the Indoril High Councilor. Just because he leads a Grand Council now doesn't me he also led one in 3e 1. For the record it is even possible Dren wasn't born at the time.
