Morrowind talk:Mephala's Quest
The UESPWiki – Your source for The Elder Scrolls since 1995
I told Taros Dral I couldn't help him a while back and now that I know he's part of a Daedric Quest I do want to help him but he won't say anything else about sensitive matters now. I'm sure someone will come along shortly to tell me it's normal procedure to expect that if you turn down someone's offer you can't ever offer to help them again, but if it's not maybe there should be a warning in the notes? (I remember turning someone down and then coming back when I wasn't busy to help them...) Jihiro 02:09, 18 January 2008 (EST)
- Also of note, I tried to 'cheat' through by stealing the treated bittergreen petals from Taros and going to Balyn's house, but clicking on his cauldron did nothing. (which I expected to happen anyways..) Jihiro 02:13, 18 January 2008 (EST)

- Most quests have 'I refused to help' journal entries, which basically prevent you from going back later and saying 'I'll help now'. There are a small number where you can do this, but not many.

- As for the petals, I'm guessing that because the act of putting them in the cauldron is scripted, it's set to only work if you have the correct journal entries. --Gaebrial 03:14, 18 January 2008 (EST)
