is the ps3's hardware compatible with morrowind? is it possible to play through linux on the ps3?—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 75.154.124.81 (talk • contribs).
- Morrowind never came out with any PS version, so I doubt it will work on the PS3. The only platforms it was released on were PC and Xbox. It may work on the Xbox 360 as well, but I'm almost certain it will not work on anything in the PS line. (There may be some hacks for it around, but a.) It'd be illegal and we're not allowed to discuss that sort of thing on this site, and b.) it probably won't be easy either. I'd just get the PC version. Any modern computer should be able to play it now. --TheRealLurlock Talk 01:22, 17 March 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Xbox Slow Loading
I have the Xbox version, and it takes ages to load. Why? Zander 00:41, 11 May 2008 (EDT)
- The xbox has a slow hard drive and large save files probably don't help either. My load time is about 2-3 minutes from a save with ~ 200 blocks, on an original Xbox. --Benould•T•C 05:35, 11 May 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Video card?
Just wondering if anyone knows if Morrowind will work with a NVIDIA Geforce 6400 /6600 (cant remember what mine is). Oblivion works fine with it, so i was just wondering if Morrowind would work
Thanks 80.229.154.146 11:17, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
- It should be fine, since all previous modern generations of Nvidia cards are supported. Any modern computer with a dedicated video card should be able to play it now. --Benould•T•C 11:53, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
Ok thanks for the help, I think mine's a dedicated Video card. 80.229.154.146 13:44, 21 July 2008 (EDT)
