Bugged quest[edit]

I can't finish this quest, I found RUSTED CHEST at the end of the cave but in it there is only a spoon (??), no glass. Then I tried to skip the quest with console and I entered Journal "MV_AngryTrader" 100 and it didn't work, please help.

Yeah, it happened to me too. I used console command to get through player-> additem ingred_raw_glass_tinos 10 --78.171.239.83 14:15, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

That's not the end of the tunnel. From the rusted chest, go down the ladder/stairs and take the path on the right. A door is on your left. Go through it and take the path on your right. You'll find one more enemy and the real chest (among other loot). 24.157.69.126 05:13, 8 September 2013 (GMT)

Merge With Vivec[edit]

Since this quest is activated by someone just north of the Telvanni Canton, SIMILAR to the quest Morrowind:A_Man_and_His_Guar activiated nearby Vivec on the road, I think it would best to integrate this with the quest list here: Morrowind:Quests_in_Vivec_Foreign. The only way I found "The Angry Trader" on this wiki was through searching the Cave listing. (Beshara). — Unsigned comment by 115.70.80.179 (talk) on 06 December 2010

This quest is on Miscellaneous Quests --Brf 18:50, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
A Man and His Guar is on the Vivec page because that's where the quest finishes. You don't go into Vivec in The Angry Trader. rpeh •TCE 18:58, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Seperate Page Listing ALL Misc. Quests[edit]

Alternatively, I have not noticed a seperate page listing -all- the miscellaneous quests around Morrowind (although most are listed on the pages dealing with each city or town) unless I have obviously missed it. Case in point is: Morrowind:Molag_Bal's_Quest. IF I did not look thru Morrowind:Caves and go thru each one, I would NOT have known about it!!. thx.

NOW, before anyone *head-desk*, I have not looked right thru this whole wiki since i rely on the links to navigate and NOT look for the page I want. Hence, If i don't know about it, how can i look for it? — Unsigned comment by 115.70.80.179 (talk) on 06 December 2010

That particular quest is on this page: Daedric_Quests --Brf 18:44, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Quest Stage 30[edit]

Never got it. Even after killing the two "guards" and getting the raw glass or the other way around. Aven 05:31, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Yes. That stage is never set. It is not required to finish it though. --Brf 12:48, 8 December 2011 (UTC)

Bug[edit]

I can confirm the 5 points in Mercantile not counting for Personality on leveling up with Morrowind Overhaul 3.0 installed. Even worse, the 5 points also don't count towards your level progress, if Mercantile is in your Major/Minor Skills. Will have to test it with a vanilla version, but I can't imagine why the result should be different. --Kyokujitsu (talk) 19:38, 8 May 2014 (GMT)

Incorrect Note[edit]

The page says this about the glass: "Only the 10 in the chest in the cave will do, even though they are typical specimens." This isn't true, though. The glass is a special item ID: "Ingred_Raw_Glass_Tinos". 73.197.21.216 03:16, 12 October 2015 (UTC)

You're right. I've updated the page to reflect this. Thanks for pointing this out! Forfeit (talk) 01:35, 13 October 2015 (UTC)

Bugged in Polish version[edit]

"stole my goods" is not highlighted, there's no way to continue the quest.
