[edit] Picture

The picture of Wraithguard here isn't really correct. It shows the Wraithguard you get from Vivec. The jury-rigged Wraithguard you get has the appearance of a Daedric Left Gauntlet, it does. I would change the picture myself, but I don't know how to take screenshots or upload them. --Xyntfos 21:23, 24 July 2008 (EDT)

I replaced it with a picture of Yagrum Bagarn, it was easier. As far as the jury-rigged Wraithguard looking like a Daedric Gauntlet, I'm well aware of it, but I consider it to be a glitch on the part of the devs, and one that has been corrected by several 3rd-party mods (including one created by yours truly). While we could show either a corrected or non-corrected version of the glove, it seems safer all around to just use a non-ambiguous picture, so Yagrum's works best in this case I think. --TheRealLurlock Talk 00:30, 25 July 2008 (EDT)

[edit] So is it permanent or not?

There are 2 warnings that say you lose permanent health but the note at the end says the official patch fixes this-- so which is it? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 218.2.113.100 (talkcontribs) on 16 February 2009.

As the article says, the artifact will cause you to lose health permanently, but the unofficial patch fixes this. I've corrected the part about the problem only occurring in some versions though as both vanilla and GotY have the problem. –RpehTCE 03:02, 16 February 2009 (EST)

[edit] Moved from the Article

  • A better way to do the Main Quest this way is not to equip Wraithguard until your have reached the Heart. When you have killed Dagoth Ur, make sure you have a fortify Health potion or spell. You can also fortify your Strength by using the cheat and then strike Dagoth Ur before equipping Wraithguard, as you might kill Dagoth Ur (2nd Form). However, this path may take the fun out of the game and the challenge.
I moved this because it doesn't make much sense... why do you need to fortify strength? And the rest of that sentence is completely unclear. I also don't see why it would spoil the game. –RpehTCE 01:52, 23 March 2009 (EDT)
