Umbacano — A Possible Explanation...[edit]

Maybe Umbacano is/has been skimming glass from the output of the mine's lode. If that's the case, then, by the time of Oblivion, he could possibly have made enough money to retire to the Imperial City and pursue his passion for Ayleid Antiquities. Just a thought, anyway.

Umbacano Easter Egg[edit]

Umbacano is obviously an Easter Egg in Oblivion. Both of them are Altmer mages, and the comment about 'Sorcalin' is a complete giveaway. However, the two pages mentioning it seem doubtful at best. While I agree that there's no evidence they are the same people, the situation should be clearly layed out on both articles and I think it's worthy of a mention on Oblivion:Elder Scrolls Historical References. I'm posting here first because at the moment the theory is made out to be speculative, which might mean I'm the only one who feels this strongly about it. Legoless 15:41, 27 March 2011 (UTC)

Does no one have a problem with me changing this? I'm confident the name generator didn't simply get two duplicates. --Legoless 20:05, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
I have to agree with you. This is most certainly not a coincidence. I don't know where does the skepticism come from, but as you said, the mentioning of Sorcalin is direct proof. -- Kertaw48 20:16, 17 June 2011 (UTC)
I've re-written the notes on both articles, and I've added an entry at Oblivion:Elder Scrolls Historical References. --Legoless 12:31, 19 June 2011 (UTC)
