Aerin's Camp

Aerin's Camp is a campsite north of Cheydinhal occupied by a master acrobat (quest-related).

It is northeast of Kingscrest Cavern, at the foot of the steep slopes of the Jerall and Valus Mountains on an unmarked road connecting the camp with Cheydinhal to the south. The site consists of a tent with a bedroll, a stool, a lit campfire, a non-respawning planter, a non-respawning plate, a non-respawning pair of russet felt shoes, two non-respawning tan jugs, and non-respawning copies of Frontier, Conquest and the Guide to the Imperial City. Due to its snowy location, the camp is not rich in flora, with only two wormwood plants in the immediate vicinity. On a clear day, the impressive mountains to the west and the rooftop of Lord Rugdumph's Estate to the southwest may be visible.

Although the camp belongs to a woman named Aerin, a master acrobat, she is nowhere to be found. Instead, a friendly Nord named Torbern has made the camp his own. He follows a lonely daily routine, including meals and sleep. He also happens to be the master trainer in Acrobatics, as you will learn during the related quest. Just a few feet north of the camp, hidden behind a pair of large rocks, lies the lifeless body of Andre Labouche, an unlucky mountain climber who died while attempting to scale Dive Rock. Additionally, a short distance down the unmarked road lies Kingscrest Cavern, and just north of the entrance, the hollow rock used every Fredas by the local Camonna Tong thugs for illegal skooma smuggling.

Notes[edit]

  • A female Bosmer named Aerin can be found in Morrowind. She also offers Acrobatics training, although her real specialty is Light Armor.
