Boderi Farano, a Dunmer battlemage, is a Wizard of the Mages Guild who offers advanced Mysticism training at the Arcane University.
After waking up early at 6am, she will spend the next two hours reading and enjoying the multitude of books found in the Mystic Archives where she resides. She will then spend the rest of her day, from 8am until midnight, wandering around the two floors. At midnight she will go to sleep in one of the beds in the Mages Quarters. The only change to her schedule is during the Light the Dragonfires quest, when she and all other Imperial City residents are confined indoors. She will always offer her services when not sleeping.
She wears middle-class attire consisting of a brown shirt, light brown linens, and a pair of pigskin shoes. Her only other possession is a leveled amount of gold. She doesn't wield any weapons, relying instead on a set of leveled spells from all of the magical schools but Illusion.
When you meet her for the first time, she will introduce herself like this: "Yes, I'm Boderi Farano, Mages Guild. You want advanced training in Mysticism? I think I can fit you in..." If you ask her about the Imperial City, she will provide you with a tip on another trainer: "Other arcane trainers in the City? Just one. Dovyn Aren, in the Market District. Basic instructor in Alteration." This statement is not wholly accurate, however, since Martina Floria may offer Master-level Illusion training if you prove adept enough.
As an advanced trainer, Boderi can provide you with the necessary reference for the Mysticism Master Training quest. Once your mysticism skill level reaches 70, speak to her, and choose the "training" option, which will trigger the quest. She will refer you to Dagail with the following words: "If you seek additional training, I cannot help. Dagail, however knows more than anyone in Cyrodiil. You can find her in the Leyawiin Guild hall."

- In Morrowind, the proprietor of the Ald Skar Inn in Ald'ruhn was also named Boderi Farano.
