Quest Giver: Count Regulus Terentius
Location(s): Bravil
Reward: Fully furnished house (Bravil House for Sale)
ID: HouseBravil

"It's squalid little shack, I'm sorry to say."

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to Count Regulus Terentius.
  2. The house itself costs 4,000 septims, but you will need to furnish it completely (six upgrades) to complete the quest.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Saving up for a Shack[edit]

To buy a property in Bravil, speak directly to Count Regulus Terentius at Castle Bravil. As long as his disposition is above 50, when you ask about properties in town he will disparagingly mention a "modest shack" which is available for sale. Pay the 4,000 gold and he hands you the keys. The house is on Bravil's southern island, next to The Archer's Paradox and below Luciana Galena's House.

Furniture Deals[edit]

As the Count mentions the shack is "squalid", he suggests visiting Nilawen at The Fair Deal to buy some furnishing, unless you prefer "eating off the floor". Nilawen will sell you all 6 upgrades, each for a base price of 650 gold. These are: House Dining Area, House Kitchen Area, House Racks Assortment, House Reading Area, House Storage Area and House Wall Hangings. See the house page for more information of what each buys you.

Once you have all six upgrades in your possession the quest will be complete.

10 I just bought a house in Bravil on the east side of the canal.
20 Now that I've arrived at my new house in Bravil, I may want to head over to Nilawen at The Fair Deal to secure some furnishings for it.
30 Finishes quest☑ I've now bought everything Nilawen has for my house in Bravil.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On PC It is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage HouseBravil stage, where stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
