Caenlin is a male Bosmer Pilgrim, and the nephew of Baenlin, a local hero in Bruma. It is possible that Caenlin was the one who hired the Dark Brotherhood to assassinate his uncle (see the Accidents Happen quest) so that he could inherit his uncle's estate in Bruma.
