Cartrus Gavinius was an Imperial healer and part of a group of Fighters Guild members sent to Forsaken Mine to deal with some trolls. Since Viranus Donton were part of the group and nobody has heard anything from them in days, Modryn Oreyn is understandably concerned and asks you to investigate what happened.
After having found the corpses of guildmembers Ariente and Ashtus Chenius, the plot thicken as you will find Cartrus dead in the first room of the cave, lying in a pool of his own blood. There are no obvious clues as to what could have caused this, as the only inhabitants of the room are two nuisance animals.
He were clad in an almost complete set of iron armor, including boots, cuirass, gauntlets, greaves and a helmet.
