Cyrus is a male Redguard Blade who resides at Cloud Ruler Temple in the Jerall Mountains north of Bruma. Cyrus is one of three guard assigned to the front entrance of Cloud Ruler temple; when he's not there, he can usually be found patrolling the courtyard or the West Wing.

• Cyrus's name is a direct reference to the hero of the game Redguard, though since Oblivion is set hundreds of years later, he is obviously not the same person.

• A Redguard named Cyrus is also mentioned in a sea shanty sung by First Mate Malvulis, although there is no evidence that the shanty refers to this Cyrus:

There once was hardy young lad of the sea... A Redguard of courage and honor was he... Sail on, my Cyrus, sail on...
