Oblivion:Dragon's Tongue

The ingredient Dragon's Tongue comes from the plant "Dragon's Tongue Plant," which is most easily found just south of Bravil and in a few locations along the Panther River. Some plants are also found throughout the West Weald region. If you are suspended from the Mages Guild for committing theft, your penance will be to collect 20 portions of Dragon's Tongue and 20 portions of Redwort Flower.

3 guaranteed samples can be found in the following places:

• 1 sample is in the Anvil Mages Guild Library
• 1 sample is in the Bravil Wizard's Grotto
• 1 sample is in Fort Cuptor Battlemains

It can also be found randomly in the inventories of alchemy vendors and in some loot chests.

The places with the highest concentrations of Dragon's Tongue are:

• 21 plants are at the entrance to Fort Redwater (map)
• 16 plants are in exterior cell (20, -16) (map)
• 14 plants are in exterior cell (23, -16) (map)
• 9 plants are at the entrance to Wendelbek (map)
• 6 plants are in exterior cell (21, -16) (map). With the Knights of the Nine mod, these plants are at the entrance to Fort Bulwark.
• 6 plants are in exterior cell (19, -16) (map)
• 6 plants are in exterior cell (34, -28) (map)
• If you have installed Knights of the Nine, 8 plants can be found in the farm plot at the Priory of the Nine
