Zone 1: Empty Mine[edit]

Empty Mine

The name of this mine is quite misleading as a huge amount of goblins patrol the narrow tunnels. However, due to the huge amount of minor treasure, exploring the whole cave is worthwhile. Immediately after entering, beware of the Tripwire at F, triggering three Swinging Maces (E). Explore the eastern path at the intersection for a silver vein and a locked chest guarded by two opponents, then return to the intersection and step over the Dead Goblin at G. An iron helmet, shield, and shortsword can be found shortly after passing by the goblin near the skeleton of a fallen explorer. The path to the exit will net you two minor loot chests, five silver veins and five aggressive goblins. Be sure not to miss the chest behind the woodwork in the southern corner of the last room. When all is said and done, locate door C and enter Empty Mine Tunnels.

Occupants:

Treasure:

  • 6 Silver Veins (non-respawning)
  • The other following items will always be found: 1 Iron Helmet, 1 Iron Shield, and 1 Iron Shortsword
  • The following plants will always be found: 2 Wisp Stalk plants

Other:

  • 1 Dead Goblin (may carry a lockpick) at location G on map

Zone 2: Empty Mine Tunnels[edit]

Empty Mine Tunnels

Empty Mine Tunnels is less linear than the previous zone, but contains much more treasure. When entering from door C, claim the contents from the chest in the first room then backtrack a bit and head north and follow the tunnel until you reach an intersection. Head right, past the two rats in the pen, and open the wood door for a fight against two enemies and a locked chest behind the woodworks. Proceed to the northernmost room and claim the potions from the chest then backtrack to the intersection near the rat pen and head south. Make sure to loot the chest on the east just after passing the intersection. The last room contains three silver veins and two enemies guarding a minor loot chest. Finally, locate door D and enter the third zone, Empty Mine Lair.

Doors and Gates:

  • There are two doors in/out of this zone

Zone 3: Empty Mine Lair[edit]

Empty Mine Lair

Door D opens up to a large room with several rats crawling around and a giant bonfire in the middle; turn right to loot a chest near the door then jump down to the bonfire and claim some potions from the chest. Climb back up in order to reach a third chest located in the southeastern corner. From this room, two tunnels lead to dead ends. The southern tunnel will net you a silver vein and access to a locked chest guarded by two foes. The western tunnel is well-guarded and leads to three silver veins and three chests, the northernmost locked. When you are done, head back to the large room and return to Empty Mine Tunnels through door D.
