The ingredient Flour is only found as already harvested samples. It is not considered to be food, so samples found in the open do not respawn. Only samples randomly found in some food sacks will respawn.

Without the Shivering Isles expansion pack, Flour is one of only two ingredients which can be used to create a Fortify Fatigue potion: at journeyman level or higher it can be combined with Wormwood Leaves. There are no negative side effects. Shivering Isles adds two more ingredients with Fortify Fatigue: Ashen Remains and Worm's Head Cap.

73 guaranteed samples can be found. The places with the highest numbers of samples are:

• 12 samples are in Salmo The Baker's Basement in Skingrad
• 8 samples are in Weye
• 6 samples are in Redas Dalvilu's House in Bleaker's Way
• 4 samples are in Floyd Nathans' House in Blankenmarch
• 4 samples are in the Anvil Castle Dining Hall and Servant Quarters

It can also be found randomly in the inventories of food vendors, in some loot chests, and in food containers.
