The ingredient Ginseng comes from the plant "Ginseng Plant", which can be found in the Gold Cost and Nibenay Valley regions. There are actually 2 varieties of this plant, one with yellow flowers and one with red flowers, both of which yield the same ingredient.

21 guaranteed samples can be found. The places with the highest numbers of samples are:

• 6 samples are in Shafaye's House in Pell's Gate
• 4 samples are in the Chorrol Fighters Guild
• 4 samples are at Satha Dalvilu's House in Bleaker's Way

It can also be found randomly in the inventories of food vendors, in the inventories of alchemy vendors, and in some loot chests.

• 12 plants are in exterior cell (28, 16) (map), near a Hestra Rune Stone
• 11 plants are in exterior cell (-39, -5) (map), near a Wayshrine of Zenithar
• 10 plants are around a statue in Skingrad (map)
• 7 plants are in exterior cell (-36, 11) (map)
• 7 plants are in exterior cell (-6, 13) (map), near a Reman Rune Stone
• 7 plants are in exterior cell (22, 21) (map)
• 6 plants are at the entrance to Niryastare (map)
• 6 plants are in exterior cell (-42, -2) (map), near an Ayleid Well
• If you have installed the Knights of the Nine official mod, 14 plants can be found in the farm plot at the Priory of the Nine

1 plant can be found growing inside:

• 1 plant is in the Anvil Castle Dining Hall
