There are eight Goblin tribes in Cyrodiil, and each calls a specific cave/mine home. Each tribe has a totem staff that they are charged with guarding; this staff is the most crucial aspect of a Goblin Tribe War.
Note: Although there are eight tribes of Goblins in Cyrodiil, only seven are listed here. This is because the Bitterfish Tribe has no totem staff, tribe symbol or leader.
Goblins will travel any distance to recover their tribe's totem once you drop it. Almost any NPC is hostile towards Goblins and will attack them on sight. Goblin tribes will also fight other tribes whenever they meet.
Note: This feature has never worked properly in the un-modded game.(?)

[edit] Bloody Hand and Rock Biter Tribes
Details of the Bloody Hand and Rock Biter may be found on the Goblin Trouble quest page. This is the only official quest involving Goblin Tribes.
[edit] Dust Eater Tribe
The Dust Eater tribe consists of 2 guards, 4 Skirmishers, a Berserker, a War Chief, and a Shaman. They can be found in Barren Mine. The totem staff is located in the innermost room of the cave.
[edit] Sharp Tooth Tribe
Ask Ah-Malz, at the Skingrad Fighters Guild, about "Goblin hunting", and this tribe's base at Derelict Mine will be marked on your map. The Sharp Tooth tribe consists of 8 guards, 11 Skirmishers, 4 Berserkers, a Chef, a War Chief, and a Shaman. The totem is on a table in a big room near the end of the third level.
The Sharp Tooth tribe is involved in a war with the White Skin tribe. The White Skin Goblins' totem is on the second level.
[edit] White Skin Tribe
Ask Fadus Calidius at the Skingrad Fighters Guild about "Goblin hunting" and this tribe's base at Goblin Jim's Cave will be marked on your map. The White Skin tribe consists of 13 guards, 4 Berserkers, 4 Skirmishers, a War Chief, and Goblin Jim (he's not a Goblin but a Breton witch). No totem, however; it's been stolen by the Sharp Tooth Goblins and can be found on the second level of Derelict Mine.
[edit] Three Feather Tribe
The Three Feather tribe consists of 8 guards, 3 Berserkers, 7 Skirmishers, a War Chief, and a Shaman. They can be found in Plundered Mine. The totem staff is found in the last room on the second level, on a crate outside a tent in the room's pit.
[edit] Skull Breaker Tribe
The Skull Breaker tribe consists of 5 guards, a Berserker, 3 Skirmishers, a War Chief, and a Shaman. They can be found in Wenderbek Cave. The totem staff is found in the doorway to the large room.
