Kvatch is a city on the Gold Coast between Anvil and Skingrad, built on top of a mountain. Not long after the assassination of Uriel Septim VII, it was sacked and destroyed by the Daedra. It is currently uninhabited and only the chapel and castle remain standing; remants of the Arena that had once existed in the town can also be recognized.

The quests here are all part of the main quest line.

• Breaking the Siege of Kvatch: You must help defeat the Daedra invaders and end the siege of Kvatch.
• The Battle for Castle Kvatch: Try and save the Count of Kvatch, and rid the city of any remaining Daedra. (side quest of "Breaking the Siege of Kvatch")

• Find the Heir: You must head to Kvatch to find the illegitimate heir to the throne, Martin Septim, true son of Uriel Septim.
• Allies for Bruma: You are asked to bring in reinforcements for Bruma from the other towns.
