Lelles' Quality Merchandise is a general store on the Anvil Waterfront. [edit]

This store is run by Norbert Lelles, a Breton Merchant with 800 gold and 40 Mercantile. He will buy anything, and sells some Miscellaneous items as well as the Apron of the Master Artisan, a unique shirt that fortifies Security, Alchemy, and Armorer.

During the Fighters Guild quest The Unfortunate Shopkeeper, you have to cleanse his shop of a group of thieves who continually break in and steal his goods. He leaves you alone in the shop for a good time, during which you can steal everything without a chance of being caught or followed. You can later fence these items.

Notes

• In several places, this store is identified as "Lelles' Quality Mercandise" (no "h" in Merchandise). Based on notes in the Construction Set, this misspelling was intentional. However, the name of store's cell (i.e.,, the name that appears on the door and the name that appears on your map when you are inside the store) uses Merchandise (with an "h"); that is the name that the wiki considers to be the store's actual name. Places where the misspelling occur are:
  • The sign outside the front door: the sign maker originally left out the "h" on the store's sign, but one was marked in afterwards.
  • The key to the store is "Lelles' Quality Mercandise Key"
  • A dialogue says: "He runs Lelles' Quality "Mercandise." Ha! Not a bad sort. You can usually find him in his store." The notes for this dialogue state "'mercandise' intentionally misspelled."
