Mazoga the Orc

Mazoga the Orc will initially be encountered in Leyawiin, insisting somewhat insecurely that she is a knight. Talking with her leads to the quest Mazoga the Orc, during which you will learn a bit more about her less-than-chivalrous past, and give her (and yourself) a chance to become a real knight.

Mazoga wears a set of heavy armor (boots, cuirass, greaves, and shield) which is always the best available quality (based on your character's level). She carries a longsword, which is also of the best available quality. She does not offer any services.

[edit] Tips

It is advisable to either complete Mazoga's quests before you have completed Sanguine's quest, or wait to start them until afterward. After you've set up the prank, unless you complete the quest without fleeing the castle, Mazoga will fight the numerous castle guards until she (most likely) dies - which will forfeit her quests. See the "Mazoga the Orc" Quest - Talk Page for discussion and ways to avoid Mazoga's death and complete the quests.

Once you complete both quests involving her, she is a great way to train combat. Simply attack her while in the White Stallion Lodge and she will fight back, providing a chance to increase Blade, Blunt, Hand to Hand, Marksman, Block, Heavy Armor, Light Armor, and Destruction. She will not report to guards and always accepts a yield.

Mazoga also makes a very good companion. If you do not complete her quests you can bring her along to fight alongside you for quests unrelated to her own. While it can be difficult transporting her from one city to the next, she can make short work of most enemies that you come across. She will follow you no matter where you go and you can tell her to wait if things get too hot. Best of all she can heal herself, and if you notice at any point that her health is not increasing, simply rest/wait for a while and her health will return to normal.
