Palonirya

Palonirya is a merchant at Divine Elegance in the Imperial City's Market District. Palonirya sells clothes and provides master training in Mercantile. Her store is also the only place you can acquire the unique Quicksilver Boots.

[edit] Mercantile Master Training

The two advanced trainers who can give you the master training reference necessary to start this quest are Margarte and Seed-Neeus.

Palonirya only has one requirement before she will train you in Mercantile: you must possess over 10,000 gold. You only need to have the gold before she trains you for the first time. Even if you then spend all the gold, she will continue to provide training (as long as you have enough gold to pay for the training session)

[edit] Notes

  • Palonirya is one of the characters affected by a well-known audio glitch.

[edit] Quest Stages

Mercantile Training (TrainingMercantile)
Stage Finishes Quest Journal Entry
10 I need to speak with Palonirya in the Imperial City if I want her help training my Mercantile skill.
20 I need to prove to Palonirya that I have what it takes to succeed in business by showing her at least ten thousand gold.
100 0Yes Palonirya has agreed to train me.
200 0Yes Palonirya is dead. I cannot be taught any more to improve my Mercantile skill
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage quest stage. Where quest is the internal name of the quest, and stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
