Dagail is a female Bosmer and head of the Mages Guild in Leyawiin. She is a powerful mystic who often speaks of cryptic premonitions, and without a certain amulet, she is plagued by thousands of voices and unable to concentrate on anything. Finding that amulet will be your task during the Leyawiin Recommendation quest. She is also the master trainer in Mysticism.

[edit] Notes
- Dagail has a brother, Eronor, who is a stablehand at Weynon Priory. They never mention each other, though Prior Maborel will tell you that they are related. The fact that he's Dunmer and she's Bosmer is somewhat unusual, though not unprecedented. The implication of this is that they have the same father but different mothers, in essence making them half-siblings. Another possibility is that Eronor was meant to be a Bosmer, like Dagail: he is one of the few Dunmer without a surname, but Bosmer generally do not have surnames.
[edit] Mysticism Master Training
The two advanced trainers who can give you the master training reference necessary to start this quest are Boderi Farano and Ita Rienus. Dagail will only provide master training once you have closed at least three Oblivion gates. The minimum number of Oblivion Gates you must close during the main quest is three, making this quest impossible to miss out on.
[edit] Quest Stages
- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage quest stage. Wherequestis the internal name of the quest, andstageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
