Oblivion:Roleplaying/Agent

- This article has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- There's almost nothing to DO in this! Actions like "Try to be hired by rich pepol" (sic) are unplayable. Most of the rest seems to be concerned with random killing. Also, Previous article under this name was merged with Roleplaying/Assassin, and deleted following a Deletion Review. Any new information should be added to the existing section on Agents instead of creating a redundant article.

As an agent you chose a life of no obligations beside of the missions you do for some cash. Join several guilds and do missions for them like if they temporary hired you for a hard mission or something. You should join :
Contents |
[edit] The Dark Brotherhood
- You are an Agent. Imagine a story for your character, for example: You work for Rufio and you' re given a final mission by him. Kill somebody rich or something, but Rufio refuses to pay you and denounces you to the guards. You end up in jail and successfully manage to break out. At this point you should be contacted by the Dark brotherhood, which offers you a contract to kill Rufio. Accept it to avenge yourself. Now you will be able to carry out contracts on their behalf . If you reach the maximum rank in the Brotherhood (Listener), imagine you're hired by someone else, for example the Imperial Legion or the Fighters Guild to exterminate the Dark brotherhood.
It is up to you if you decide to kill your brothrs and sisters or you choose to be loyal them.
[edit] The Thieves Guild
- After breaking out of jail, you heard some rumors concerning the existance of the Grey Fox and the Thieves Guild. Do some detective work, in secrecy as to make sure the guards don't catch you. Start in the Waterfront District, as there is a limited amount of guards there around midnight. After having found the Thieves Guild and completed their test start taking on tasks. If you complete all of the quests and become the Grey Fox imagine you've been hired by the Imperial Legion to kill all of the Guild members. Again, it is up to you whether you want to fulfill your new contract or not although it is not reccomended since it is one of the easiest sources of lockpicks in the game.
[edit] The Fighters Guild
- When you where in an inn you heard some talk about the Fighters Guild needing assistance and decide to go and see what they could offer you.
Start completing their missions. If you finish all the quests and become Giuldmaster imagine you've been hired by Blackwood company to exterminate the Guild. (This maybe a little hard). As always you aren't forced to either betray the betray the Guild or decide to be loyal towards it.
[edit] The Mages Guild
- You needed some extra money so you decided to go to one of the Mage's Guildhalls and you got hired to fulfill their missions. Imagine that when you arrive in Echo Cave to fight Mannimarco, the King of Worms, he hired you for a greater price to kill all the guildmembers in the Arcane University (This may be a little hard).
[edit] Equipment
During the day
- Upper-Class clothing, such as black and burgundy outfit.
- Blade of Woe (or any other dagger).
During the night
- Dark clothes, for example Black Robe and Hood or Dark Outfit (as you don't want to be caught and/or recognised while doing your contracts).
- Blade of Woe (or any other dagger).
During missions
- Dark Brotherhood Shrouded Armor and Shrouded Hood if you possess them.
- Black Bow with silver arrows (If possible).
- Blade of Woe (or any other dagger).
- The Grey Cowl of Nocturnal (If possible)
[edit] Self Created Quest
- No limits to this part!!
- If you hear someone talking nastily about someone else kill him as if you had been given a contract.
- Use the console to receive payment: player_additem 000F 500.
- Be smart, you're an Agent, you cannot be catched in the Dark Bortherhood by the Thieve's Guild.
[edit] Diversions
- Imadgine your catched in an inn by guards, start a total bar fight! Then simply run your way out of the city (your faster then the heavy guards). Watch for arrows!
- More diversions.... For another example your catched in Water Front district, run into pirate's ship! the guards will come too! ! Stay there for a while running maybe and then jump to the water in the middle of the fight! That will teach those guards to mess with you.
Be creative most of all, NO LIMITS! ! !.
