- Buy things from merchants or collect ingredients from plants and travel all around Cyrodiil.
- Use your horse for this.
- Leave the items that you were asked to deliver on a plate in front of somebody's front door.
- Collect your pay via console or pick pocketing.
- You can also deliver goods to people on the street by reverse pick pocketing.
- Consider yourself a middleman, ready to brave the unsafe roads (we've had sightings...the Daedra). Pick a few merchants to be your clients, then attempt to get the best deal from other merchants for the goods that your clients need. Say, for instance, that Seed-Neeus in Chorrol wants to start selling magical and alchemical objects in greater volume. You can collect them and barter the best price possible from other merchants, then sell them to Seed-Neeus at a fixed percentage (a good one - you don't want to go broke). Every time your mercantile goes up, you can demand a "raise" by negotiating a new percentage.
- Start off with the cheapest horse you can get, and then gradually save up for a better one. You have to invest in your business, right?
- Form de facto caravans - delivery folks need to both speed and safety! Ride along Legion soldiers, or join Alessia Caro in her travels for security.
