Sounds less than it is...
Equip yourself in the same fashion as an Imperial Knight and make it your mission to safeguard settlements that are close to Oblivion Gates. Travel Cyrodiil on your loyal steed searching out the gates and closing them.
- Ensure you are equipped for the long and arduous journey ahead; take extra food and spare weapons (bear in mind realism in terms of how many you could carry ie. 3 longswords and a claymore are a little too much but a longsword and a shortsword would be better).
- Loot the gates for rare items and collect as many rare plant species and creature remains as possible to finance your quests.
- Combine your wanderings with similar quests such as Breaking the Siege of Kvatch and The Wayward Knight to add a bit more interest
- Pretend you are in the employ of the Empire (seeing as you are wearing Imperial Armor) and receive payment for your trouble via the console.
