Beneath the Imperial Palace, accessible from the sewers, during a Thieves Guild quest.

The Old Way is a large Ayleid ruin underneath the Imperial City containing undead (quest-specific). [edit] It contains five zones: The Old Way, The Old Way, The Lost Catacombs, Hall of Epochs, and Hall of Epochs.

Notes

  • Entered from The Palace Sewers and thus inaccessible before the related quest.
  • After activating the push block in the boss chamber of the second zone of the Hall of Epochs, a new exit can be opened from the previous zone, leading to the palace guard quarters in the imperial palace.
  • There is a bedroll in the southwest corner of the northeast room of the Lost Catacombs, with a skeleton lying on the ground nearby. This is a convenient place to sleep if you have gained enough experience to level up in the long trek to this point.
