The Faregyl Inn, where the quest begins
|
[edit] Quick Walkthrough
- Speak with S'jirra about her missing potatoes. She will tell you of a huge person who stole them.
- Find the ogre west of Faregyl Inn, and kill him. Retrieve the potatoes from his corpse.
- Return them to Faregyl Inn, and speak with S'jirra to claim your reward of S'jirra's Famous Potato Bread.
[edit] Detailed Walkthrough
[edit] Stolen Potatoes
Enter the Faregyl Inn, south of the Imperial City just off the Green Road to Bravil, and speak with the Khajiit female S'jirra. She left her Jumbo Potatoes outside, but when she returned to get them so that she could bake her Famous Potato Bread, she saw a huge person running off west with her potatoes.
[edit] Vegetarian Ogre
After leaving the Faregyl Inn, go west for some time and an ogre will attack you. Defeat the ogre (he is rather slow, so keep running, and take him out from a distance), and search his body to find 6 Jumbo Potatoes.
[edit] A Healthy Reward
Return to the Faregyl Inn and speak with S'jirra for your reward of her first batch of S'jirra's Famous Potato Bread (worth 30 gold each, 4 effects: Detect Life, Restore Health, Damage Agility and Damage Strength). The number of loaves is level-dependent. Afterwards, if you talk to her again, you can buy them through dialog for 25 gold each.
[edit] Leveled Reward
| Level | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1-4 | 1 loaf |
| 5-9 | 2 loaves |
| 10-14 | 3 loaves |
| 15-19 | 4 loaves |
| 20+ | 5 loaves |
[edit] Notes
- You may encounter the ogre before acquiring this quest. If you do, he will have the potatoes on him and you will receive the following message:
- I've slain an Ogre out in the wilderness. Oddly, it was carrying a bunch of Jumbo Potatoes. I should hang onto these, as they seem quite unusual.
[edit] Journal Entries
- Notes
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage quest stage. Wherequestis the internal name of the quest, andstageis the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
