Torbern at Aerin's Camp

Torbern is a Nord, and the master trainer in Acrobatics. He can be found at Aerin's Camp high in the Jerall Mountains.

Reaching Aerin's Camp can be a challenge. It's in the far northeast corner of Cyrodiil, north of Cheydinhal and east of Bruma (map). The easiest way to get here is to follow an unmarked road that leads here. Otherwise you may have to traverse some steep slopes.

[edit] Acrobatics Master Training

The two advanced trainers who can give you the master training reference necessary to start this quest are Ganredhel and Tsrava. Although they tell you to find Aerin for master training, Aerin is nowhere to be found; Torbern is in fact the master trainer.

Unlike most of the master trainers, he doesn't require you to do anything in order to receive training. Merely finding the camp is presumably a sufficient test of your acrobatics skill.

10 For further training in Acrobatics, I need to search the mountains in the northeast of Cyrodiil for Aerin's Camp.
100 0Yes Torbern has agreed to train me in Acrobatics in Aerin's absence.
Notes
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in random order.
  • If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
  • On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering setstage quest stage. Where quest is the internal name of the quest, and stage is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages. See SetStage for more information.
