Either he's essential or he's not (I haven't spawned him, so I can't say, but if he's really just a copy of the player he should be). If he is, he shouldn't be placed in the essential NPC category. He's not a copy of the Player - he IS the Player. Since you can't beat the game if you're dead, it's safe to say that his survival is pretty much a requirement, thus he qualifies as Essential by technicality, even if he isn't officialy labelled as such. --TheRealLurlock ^Talk 17:25, 3 July 2008 (EDT)
