Mages Guild Topic[edit]

In my game, Felen does not have the 'Mages Guild topic', so the whole bit of dialogue regarding average persons without magic is not found in-game. Have other console users experienced this? Wolok gro-Barok 09:36, 13 April 2009 (EDT)

Ah, thanks. He only has the topic if you aren't a member. Since it's likely most people will join before reaching Anvil, I doubt many people have ever heard that line. –RpehTCE 10:43, 13 April 2009 (EDT)

Is this normal?[edit]

When I talked to Carahill about my recommendation, I noticed his room. I peeked in, and Carahil decided to move in here for some reason. Can someone provide info? — Unsigned comment by 204.52.246.28 (talk) at 05:21 on 16 August 2010

Just tested it and it must have been your timing. Carahil should be behind her desk until 8pm, then wander around for an hour until her dinner at 9pm. She probably just decided to wander into Felen's room and you spoke to her around that time. --Krusty 12:34, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
Actually, she was sleeping. Both of them were. It was about 1 AM, and she just slipped in right next to him. — Unsigned comment by 75.165.142.218 (talk) at 01:04 on 31 August 2010
Most NPCs, especially residents of the Guild halls, will - for some reason - change beds after having been woken up during the night. Carahil is no exception and Felen's bed was probably chosen by random, or because it was the closest one. --Krusty 07:51, 31 August 2010 (UTC)

Unable to enter his own room?[edit]

I've been watching him here for a moment, since about midnight he's been standing outside what I assume to be his room, unable to open his door. He constantly moves around and towards it, but then seems to give up..is this normal? I haven't picked the lock yet (it's set to Very Hard but that's not an issue) if that has any factor in this...just wondering if this is normal TVthePunisher 01:39, 25 August 2011 (UTC)

>In addition to Felen being locked out of his room, I've noticed if for some reason due to cell loading relocation, if he gets put in the room he can't unlock his own door to provide services to the player. The player is then forced to unlock his room just to do business with him or else the player has to force a relocation by probably exiting the cached cell.--Garnu the Green (talk) 22:07, 1 March 2013 (GMT)
