The 'magic' went away! So I've probably played Oblivion a thousand times, and each time I go through and I do a different Guild or Faction. This most recent time I was doing all the Fighter's Guild Quests, and apparently I killed someone I oughtn't have, and didn't realize because when I went to level up (or you know, sleep) at the main dormitory thing in Anvil, Lucien Lachance showed up. Not only had I forgotten I'd killed someone, I forgot he'd show up at a 'secure' location. At first I didn't care, but half way through his little I-am-so-creepy speech, the friggin' Fighter's Guild Porter WALKS THROUGH OUR CONVERSATION. I about died, I was laughing so hard because it totally ruined the experience. Why does Lucien appear wherever you sleep even if it's not technically secure. Having the Porter walk through us was a little...well, it completely suspended my belief and I was a little put out.

I think that's impossible. Doesn't the game freeze during conversations? IWon'tFightUndead 08:17, 18 January 2008 (EST)
